25 November 2003 - Big Developments
It's been a frantic 48 hours of negations with both wrestlers and venues and last night, the first deals for 'Hostile Intent' were struck. One of the biggest names in America and Japan agreed to appear in a World Title number 1 contenders match. His opponent is just a matter of hours from agreeing too. As well as this, another big American who is a favorite with the British crowd is still in discussions along with a legend from Japan.
The first name is set to be announced on December 12th along with details of the rest of 'Hostile Intent'. By that time, deals with the rest of the guys will be sorted out and we'll release confirmed up until the middle of January.
Also, this show will stage a round robin points tournament for the World Title. This will consist of three matches with the wrestler with the most points taking the title. We already have who we consider to be the best British based wrestlers and are scouting top international wrestlers to battle it out for the title. It's sure to be the tournament of the year over here.
Some of the best under appreciated British talent will also be on show and we strongly believe that after one look, they'll be fondly remember for a long time. For too long certain wrestlers have been discarded or over looked for whatever reason and we're going to put our money where our mouths are and give the guys the limelight they deserve.
That's not all, we're also sorting out deals with more models. ICW's diva department will be a force with any diva's across the world... but far more sexy! ICW UK's start comes in February in Wigan with shows in Liverpool and Blackburn in March and this spectacular aimed specifically for you, the internet fans.
